Capitol/EMI and Apple Corps engaged Tsunami to oversee the worldwide release of the first official soundtrack to the newly remastered Yellow Submarine film. The soundtrack featured all 15 songs from the movie, as opposed to the original album, which consisted of 6 tracks and score, thus making this a significant new release for Beatles fans.
Tsunami led the international marketing initiatives, including;
Delivered and coordinated a comprehensive global marketing plan and campaign in conjunction with EMI
Critiqued all territory-by-territory marketing plans and sales projections
Coordinated global, major market screenings of the film in support of the soundtrack release
Supervised international and local marketing and promotional agencies
Generated brand and media partnerships to provide incremental consumer reach
Responsible for meeting global sales projections, including incremental catalog campaigns
