Indomina Media was a start-up indie film studio with a major production facility and sound stages in the Dominican Republic in partnership with Pinewood Studios. The LA-based Indomina Media division was responsible for film development, domestic releasing, and international sales.
Tsunami personnel played a pivotal role in launching the then start-up studio;
Oversaw acquisitions, marketing, distribution, financial ultimates, business affairs, and international sales, with a staff of 16
Negotiated a home entertainment distribution deal with Universal/Vivendi for DVD, streaming, VOD, broadcast, etc.
Coordinated all theatrical releases, including theater bookings, scheduling, and ‘print’ distribution
Supervised all international sales initiatives through third-party international distributors
Headed up the comprehensive marketing campaigns for all domestic releases
Theatrical releasing highlights in the US included award-winning titles such as The Art of Rap (Sundance), Imposter (Cannes), Detective Dee (Tribeca), Filly Brown (Sundance), Holy Motors (Cannes), and Luv (Sundance)
Indomina was known for its innovative marketing, specifically targeted to the fanboy/fangirl audience.
