The Project:
Tsunami had a long term consulting agreement with NBC Enterprises, the division charged with the ancillary exploitation of NBC media properties, including international licensing, DVD and music/soundtrack sales.
Tsunami's responsibility was to enhance strategic marketing and sales initiatives in the DVD and music space, In 2002 NBC, as part of its broadcasting partnership with the International Olympic Committee proposed nightly concerts on the Medal's Plaza at the Salt Lake Winter Olympics.
Tsunami played an important role as part of the organizing committee that booked and organized the concerts at the conclusion of each days sporting events. Artists featured included N'Sync, Foo Fighters, Train, Dave Mathews Band, Bare Naked Ladies, Sheryl Crow, Smash Mouth, Creed, Marc Anthony, Martina McBride and Brooks & Dunn.
The concerts were a huge success providing a recreational respite at the end of each day's program and giving the athletes the opportunity to co-mingle with fellow competitors in a display of international unity through music.
Our Role:
Tsunami provided a broad range of marketing services to various corporations including House of Blues, Tartan Films, TV Guide, QVC, Fox Music, NBC/Universal, CJ Entertainment, Blueprint Digital Media, Ads Reality and Digital 2 Go.
